Groupe Ouellet Canada Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of electric heating products used in the residential, commercial and industrial sectors, has been in business for almost 60 years. The Québec company who started their operations in l’Islet has always focused on innovation and managed, early on, to make a name for themselves on the international scene. Many companies with this type of background run out of steam over time, but that is not the case for this heating solutions organization, because they did what they had to to stay in the game.
Type of mandate: Acquisition strategy
Objective: To acquire competitors so that the company could grow through new markets and maintain its strategic positioning in existing markets.
Achievements: Moreault Conseillers was involved early in the development of Groupe Ouellet Canada Inc.’s acquisition strategy. By working alongside the organization’s leaders, we contributed to the conclusion of significant transactions: Britech, Delta-Therm, Innovair.
